That’s why we were proud to team up with the Gallagher Chiefs to launch the Ultimate Chiefs Mini-Fan competition - a fun and inspiring campaign designed especially for primary school kids who love the Chiefs and aren’t afraid to show it.

Bringing the Chiefs Spirit to Life

The Ultimate Chiefs Mini-Fan competition invited kids across the region to get creative and show us what makes them the ultimate fan. The challenge? Create a game day supporter sign answering the big question:

“What would you do to win the ultimate Chiefs fan experience?”

Open to primary school-aged students, the competition wasn’t just about individual prizes - the winning entry would unlock an epic Chiefs experience for an entire classroom.

Meet Our Winner: Corban-Rei from Hukanui Primary

We’re thrilled to announce that Corban-Rei from Class 4 at Hukanui Primary School took out the top spot as our Ultimate Chiefs Mini-Fan. His creative sign and big Chiefs energy captured the judges’ attention - earning him and his classmates an unforgettable experience.

Corban-Rei won the following:

A VIP adventure at the Chiefs Captain’s Run at FMG Stadium Waikato. The class got the chance to:

  • Meet Chiefs players in person
  • Score exclusive Chiefs merch
  • Enjoy a behind-the-scenes stadium tour

And the prize didn’t stop there. He also scored:

  • $1,500 worth of sports equipment for his school
  • Tickets to the Chiefs vs Moana Pasifika game for himself and his family

Here's some photos of his VIP action-packed day.
