“If you are thinking about building, we’d definitely recommend building with Platinum Homes”
"This was our first build; it was always one of our goals to build a home from scratch. Our house is just over 300 sqm and is based on a Platinum Homes standard plan; we just added things and moved parts around to suit what we wanted. Our house prior to this had a similar ceiling and roof line, and we wanted to continue that. My husband and I really love the high stud ceiling as you walk through, and we wanted the hard floors in this home, which we weren't able to have in our prior house.
We worked closely together with the Platinum team right through from the building design to the interior design. It was just a fantastic building process.
Our build was under construction during the Auckland floods in early 2023. The awful weather slowed us a little when they were working outside, but nothing too major, and Platinum's thorough communication kept us up to date at every stage.
We had other friends building at a similar time with another company, and our journey was remarkably fantastic compared to theirs.
We had such a good experience, especially for our first build. We really feel so lucky. We'll definitely build again, and we'd recommend building with Platinum Homes to any of our friends."
