Our mission is to create a design and build journey for you that incorporates everything you call home. Whether you’re an entertainer, a master chef, an armchair sports fan or a green thumb we work with you to design your home around the things that matter most to you. That means, we get to know you and your lifestyle in order to fit around you during the building process and so you’re proud of your new home for years to come.

Our process

When building a house with Platinum Homes, we do everything to make your building journey as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. We do the legwork to make the process as smooth as possible — from design to completion.
Step 1

Make contact

Get in touch with our showhome or sales centre in the area you’d like to build.
Step 2

Initial consultation

You get to know your local New Home Consultant and they learn about you.
Step 3

Choose your Platinum outcome

Do you want to build a Platinum Homes design, or are you after the turnkey convenience of a Platinum Homes house and land package?
Step 4

Refine your design

If you have chosen to build your home, we’ll help you select materials and finishes – taking inspiration from a site visit or conversation with a specialist if required.
Step 5

Review the contract

We will then prepare and price the building contract for your new Platinum home.
Step 6

Getting ready for construction

Your local council must sign off the design and issue a building consent.
Step 7

Construction of your home

The building phase is managed by your Platinum Homes Construction Manager.
Step 8

Final council inspection

When your home is finished your local council will confirm that it meets the requirements of your building consent.

Our best value promise

At Platinum Homes we believe we offer our customers the best value home for their budget. If you believe you have been offered the same specification home as a Platinum home at a better price from one of our competitors – bring us the building contract before you sign and we'll show you how we offer better value. We call it the Platinum Homes Best Value Promise.
